Abomination – In biblical usage, something that God loathes or hates because it is offensive to Him and His character.
In the OT, dishonest acts included secretly moving boundary markers (Deuteronomy 19:14), the use of false measures and weighted balances (Deuteronomy 25:13-16), selling goods of inferior quality (Amos 8:4-6), and charging interest to poor people (Exodus 22:25).
